Tornados don't just happen in Kansas now do they...

We, in Long Beach, California just had a storm of all storm's blow through here along with a small tornado. What the heck is going on here?! My whole street is flooded up to my door step. Instead of my car I need a two seater canoe, lol. The bad thing is that I just had a full blown anxiety attack and had to take some meds to calm the heck down. I don't even know the first thing to do in the event of a tornado, I have my daughter home from school today, thank God, cause she hurt her ankle last night and two cat's. I heard on the news to stay in your house and stay low, away from all windows and perhaps go into your bathtub with a lot of pillows covering your head. I was all set to get into that bathtub and have my dad put a mattress on top of me. Ever since my husband passed away 3 years ago I don't deal with stressful situations very well. He was always the one to take charge and comfort me and Natalie and my cat's. I miss having him around. He would of held me tight during the heavy rain, lightning and thunder and the tornado that thank God I didn't see. He would of reassured me that everything is going to be OK. Well, I am ok now. My nerves are calming down and I feel a lil bit better. This is some bizarre weather we Southern Californians are having. We aren't used to all this at all, so when things like this happen it is news worthy. I saw on the news that the tornado touched down in a shopping center in Seal Beach and turned over an SUV and uprooted some trees. WEIRD is all I have to say. This isn't the end of this winter storm. There is more to come. I just hope that the tornado warning's are over with. I can't take this much stress right now. Stay dry Southern, California and don't get blown away. Happy Tuesday everyone!!!!!! =/
